Amanda is a licensed Mental Health Therapist. She has spent several years in non-profit mental health, crisis center/hospitals and juvenile/adult court services along with private practice settings. She enjoys working with adolescents, adults and families utilizing Cognitive Behavioral Treatment modalities, solution focused strength-based approaches, mindfulness, and real-life experience. She caters her approach to each client’s individual therapeutic needs promoting healing, resilience, acceptance and growth. She has expertise in treating anxiety, depression, mood disorders, behavioral disorders, women’s issues, schizophrenia, grief and trauma. She specializes in co-occurring disorders, Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), and Trauma-Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT). Outside of the office Amanda can be found baking sweet treats, spending quality time with her children, camping, taking the dog for a walk, and enjoying the outdoors.
