Alyssa is an LPC resident (under Supervision with Christie Hennigan, LPC, LSATP, CSAC, NCC) and has had experience working with clients on depression, anxiety, trauma, relationships, and overall self-image and discovery. Alyssa has also worked with student athletes on identity outside of athletics, performance anxiety, self-esteem, nutritional concerns, stress and time management, and working through injury. Alyssa enjoys working alongside clients in a collaborative manor in order to help her clients reach their goals and provide a safe and non-judgmental space in the process. Alyssa uses a person-centered, humanistic approach along with various therapeutic intervention techniques while also adapting to each client’s individual needs and personal goals. She focuses on the individual as a whole rather than treating parts of the client in order for clients to get what they need from counseling.
