Alyson holds a Bachelor’s degree in Psychology and a Master’s degree in Social Work, both from Salem State University in her hometown of Salem, Massachusetts. Her education and diverse professional experience in the mental health field have fueled her passion for therapy.
Alyson uses an eclectic approach to talk therapy, incorporating Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), Psychodynamic Theory, and Motivational Interviewing (MI) to tailor sessions to each client’s needs. A lifelong learner, Alyson is dedicated to supporting individuals from all walks of life, with a particular focus on guiding clients toward self-love and emotional healing from trauma. She works with a wide range of clients, from children to adults, with a special interest in young adults.
Outside of work, Alyson enjoys spin classes, spending time with her pets (Pants, Pippa, and Dexter), and racing in Mario Kart!
