Alisha Dowell, MSW, LCSW is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker in south central Indiana. Alisha began providing therapy services in 2017 after obtaining her Master’s Degree in Social Work from the University of Southern Indiana in Evansville.

Alisha began her career in as a Child and Family Therapist for Centerstone of Greensburg, Indiana and provided mental health, trauma, and behavioral therapy services for two years. Alisha then transitioned to Treatment and Support Center (TASC) operated by Columbus Regional Health in 2019 and provided addictions focused treatment through individual therapy and group therapy including Intensive Outpatient Program, Living in Balance, Relapse Prevention, My Ongoing Recovery Experience, and Social Support groups.

Alisha is trained in mental health and addictions treatment and has experience in treating co-occurring disorders, substance use, trauma, depression, anxiety, and behavioral issues. Alisha utilizes an eclectic approach to therapy including evidence-based treatment practices and skills from Cognitive Behavior Therapy, Motivational Interviewing, Dialectical Behavioral Therapy and Solutions-Focused Therapy, all while using a strengths-based approach with all clients. Alisha is trained to use the American Society of Addiction Medicine (ASAM) criteria and Matrix model to help people who need substance use treatment. As well as being committed to continual education to provide the best treatment to clients.

Outside of providing therapy services, Alisha enjoys living an active lifestyle through hiking and exercise, being a mom, dog mom to her two dogs, reading, watching television and movies, and going out to eat with her husband, family, and friends.
