Alexa enjoys working with adolescents and adults who have been struggling with anxiety, depression, ADHD, family conflict, and grief/loss. She believes it is important to figure out a client’s strength while working in a mutually respective relationship to achieve the client’s needs and goals. In sessions, Alexa uses a multi-modal approach, which includes Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), person-centered, Mindfulness, and strengths-based approaches to name a few. Alexa graduated from the University of Connecticut in 2020 with a Master of Social Work. She worked for 2 years in an outpatient mental health clinic serving school aged clients in a school and clinical setting.
