Agha is a LPC Associate and a graduate of the University of Houston-Victoria with his M.A. in Forensic Psychology. Agha’s training and theoretical orientations utilize CBT and M.I. as key elements in counseling. This is mixed with Agha’s approach to psychology, which is based on taking a humanistic approach to psychology, founded on beliefs of non-confrontation, positivity, empathy, patience, and compassion to both help and support those going through a myriad of life’s many challenges. He has worked primarily in the areas of substance abuse, anxiety, and depression. Additionally, being a first generation American, is passionate about working with those dealing with acculturative stress within the confines of both religious/cultural experience. Agha is also open to working with MAPs. Agha speaks Urdu/Hindi fluently as a second language. He is working under the supervision of Ms. Rebecca Smith, LPC-S.
