Francesca is a Licensed Professional Counselor with over 8 years of experience working with individuals ranging from 18 months old to adults. Francesca is a compassionate therapist working with children, teens and families that have experienced trauma  including sexual abuse, physical abuse, neglect, emotional abuse and domestic violence. Francesca is dedicated to bringing awareness to working with at-risk youth and youths involved in the juvenile justice system, as well as working with children and families navigating the foster care system. Francesca’s therapeutic frame is client centered, non-judgmental and humanistic. Francesca believes all clients are seen as the expert in their lives and she attempts to guide them through internal awareness, interpersonal changes and healing. Francesca has the ability to meet the client where they are at and tailor the treatment approach to the client’s needs while being sensitive to how individual cultural identities and lifestyle choices impact experiences. Francesca accomplishes this by using evidenced based practices such as Trauma-Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Cognitive Behavioral therapy, Child Parent Psychotherapy (CPP) and certified in Clinical Trauma Professional Level II: Complex Trauma. When not at work Francesca is an artist, and loves all things art related and crafty. Francesca also loves spending time with friends and family, listening to music, cooking, and watching anything horror or true crime related.
