Sonam (Sona) specializes in children with Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder (ADHD) and Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD). Her journey into this field was born out of an unexpected opportunity to work closely with children who face the unique challenges of ADHD and ASD.
Sonam’s approach to assessment and intervention is grounded in the belief that every child possesses innate strengths and abilities. Sonam sees potential and possibility in every child she works with. She is dedicated to the strength-based approach, that focuses on identifying and nurturing the talents and potentials that each child possesses. This approach allows her to understand where children may need support and celebrate their individuality and resilience.
Compassion and humility are at the core of Sonam’s approach to her work. She understands that every child is unique and deserving of respect and understanding. She acknowledges the complexity of these disorders and the impact they can have on children and their families. By approaching her work with humility, she is always ready to learn, adapt, and grow in her understanding of ADHD and ASD. This perspective allows her to provide the most compassionate and effective support to the children she works with.
In every aspect of her professional journey, she strives to create a safe and nurturing environment where children and their families feel heard, understood, and empowered. Her goal is to help children with ADHD and ASD discover their unique potential, fostering a sense of confidence and self-worth that will serve them throughout their lives.
When Sonam is not working, she enjoys traveling to new destinations. Being a big fan of the Harry Potter series, she never misses an opportunity to visit Hogwarts. In addition, she is a proud member of the BTS army.
