Hannah Aase, MA, LMFT

Therapist

Hannah is a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist in Minnesota who enjoys working with teens, adults, couples, families, and LGBTQIA individuals. She has worked in the mental health field for over 10 years and has a background in case management, in-home therapy, domestic abuse groups, school-based therapy, and residential treatment.

Hannah has helped clients with a variety of issues, including stress, anxiety, depression, trauma, life transitions, setting boundaries, and gender identity. Hannah has experience in Person-Centered Therapy, solution-focused therapy, cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT), and trauma-focused therapy. The first few therapy sessions will be about diving into the possible causes of issues/symptoms, what you have tried in the past, and creating a plan for how to address issue/symptoms in the future. Many of Hannah’s clients see benefits once they start utilizing therapy tools.

Hannah’s therapeutic approach is rooted in compassion, empathy, and humor. In her office, she works on building an authentic, non-judgmental, and compassionate relationship with individuals, so they feel safe and comfortable to share. Hannah is passionate and determined to reduce stigma around mental health and an advocate for making mental health accessible for everyone. Hannah truly believes that all people deserve equity, love, and kindness.

In her free time, Hannah enjoys spending time with her husband, family, friends, and her cat (Thor). She also enjoys reading, puzzling, yoga, watching documentaries or reality TV, and playing any type of game (being a nerd basically).
