Danielle Christopherson, MSW, LICSW

Therapist

Danielle, or Dani, can be described as warm and welcoming, like a “Hygee” vibe, with a side of humor because humor is natural medicine. Dani believes every person is gifted with their own set of inner resources and strengths (see, you are already kicking a** in therapy). Part of her therapy process is helping you identify those strengths to join with you on a path of healing. Dani is trained in Brainspotting, which you will likely hear about when you meet with her (because she tells everyone about it). Brainspotting might be for you if you are interested in further bettering yourself (which is why you are here, reading this bio), or if traditional talk therapy has you feeling “stuck.”

Dani enjoys working with adolescents, adults, and has a special interest in perinatal mental health. Since becoming a mom herself, she quickly recognized the gap in mental health care for parents, as well as our cultures “bounce back” mentality. Since then, she has pursued advanced training in perinatal mental health to support parents of all stages/experiences, such as: expecting parents, new parents, parents who have suffered a loss and/or infertility struggles.

When Dani is not at work, she is likely playing in the dirt in her garden, running or training for a race (because, why not?), in nature, or spending time with her family and friends.
