Shawna Critelli is a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) and Nationally Certified Counselor (NCC) who received her Master’s of Science degree in clinical mental health counseling from Mercer University and Bachelor’s of Science degree from the University of Georgia.
As a counselor and psychotherapist, she is passionate about developing meaningful client relationships and helping individuals recognize their strengths and potential. While empowering clients to make changes that positively impact their lives, she tailors her treatment approach specifically to the client’s individual needs with evidenced-based practices. She has experience treating individuals across the developmental lifespan and enjoys integrating Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), expressive arts therapies, and a family systemic approach.
She enjoys integrating a holistic approach to therapy connecting the mind and body. Shawna specializes in crisis intervention, trauma, depression, anxiety, suicidal ideation, substance abuse, and self-harming behaviors and particularly enjoys providing psychotherapy resources to teens, young adults, and adults of all ages.
