Yesenia Ballesteros, MA

Bilingual Therapist

I am a bilingual therapist with a strong background in psychology, applied behavioral analysis, and child welfare. With nearly a decade of experience supporting children, families, and communities, my work has spanned from direct therapy for children with Autism to advocacy roles within the criminal justice and child welfare systems. I earned my Master’s in Psychology with a concentration in Applied Behavior Analysis from The Chicago School of Professional Psychology (2024). I also hold a Bachelor’s degree in Psychology and Criminal Justice from Aurora University (2018).

My passion is helping children and families thrive by providing supportive, compassionate care. Over the years, I’ve worked as a Registered Behavior Technician, crisis interventionist, and court advocate, giving me a well-rounded perspective on the needs of children and their communities. With experience in both clinical and advocacy roles, I bring a balance of empathy, structure, and dedication to every person I work with.

When I am not at work you can find me outdoors going for long walks with my husband, our daughter and two 90+ lbs dogs. I love to be outdoors, make candles, sewing, spend time with my family and cooking up some new recipes.
