Veesser Aminpour Pohn, Licensed Clinical Professional Counselor

Therapist/Clinic Manager

Parenting can feel overwhelming when your child is struggling, and the right support can make a meaningful difference. I’m a Licensed Clinical Professional Counselor (LCPC) who works with children, adolescents, and families experiencing anxiety, depression, ADHD, behavioral challenges, self-esteem concerns, adjustment difficulties, feeding challenges, developmental differences, and peer or family relationship stress.

My approach is warm, relational, and developmentally grounded. I help families translate therapy skills into daily routines at home and school, tailoring each session to a child’s personality, strengths, and developmental level while empowering caregivers with practical tools and confidence.

I use evidence-based approaches including play therapy, the DIR/Floortime model, and the SOS Approach to Feeding, along with strong caregiver collaboration.

I earned my Bachelor’s degree in Psychology from the University of Wisconsin–Madison and my Master’s degree in Forensic Psychology from The Chicago School of Professional Psychology.
