Vanna is a Registered Mental Health Counseling Intern who received her Master’s in Mental Health Counseling from Nova Southeastern University. With her years of experience in residential, partial hospitalization, and private practice settings with all ages, Vanna specializes in treating individuals who have experienced PTSD, developmental trauma, dissociation, and eating disorders. She is passionate about helping clients heal, grow, and reclaim their sense of personal power after the effects of traumatic experiences. Vanna draws heavily from trauma-informed approaches, including Mindfulness-based Cognitive therapy, Acceptance and Commitment therapy, Sensorimotor therapy, Internal Family Systems, therapeutic art, and animal-assisted therapy. Vanna’s therapeutic approach is rooted in empathy, respect, and collaboration. She believes in creating a safe and non-judgmental space where clients can share their experiences and work towards healing. Integrating the mind and body, through trauma-informed approaches, allows the opportunity to tap into your innate resilience and healing capacity. Vanna is a Florida native and in her free time, she enjoys fostering kittens with the local humane society and freelance writing.
