Tresniece Evans is a Licensed Graduate Social Worker (LGSW) and therapist who was born and raised in the Washington, DC area. She obtained her Master of Social Work from Walden University and is passionate about supporting individuals, families, and communities in their healing and growth journeys. She has experience working with trauma, couples, individuals, families, adults, and teens, and has served both POC and non-POC populations from diverse backgrounds.
Tresniece has worked with clients experiencing life transitions and challenges such as trauma, domestic violence, various forms of abuse, depression, grief, postpartum concerns, and geriatric pregnancy. She approaches this work with compassion, cultural humility, and a deep respect for each client’s lived experience.
Tresniece is a Christian-based therapist who values faith as a source of strength and healing. At the same time, she is deeply committed to providing a safe, respectful, and non-judgmental environment for all clients, regardless of beliefs or backgrounds. She works to ensure each client feels seen, heard, and supported in their therapeutic journey.
She uses a person-centered and collaborative approach, meeting clients where they are and serving as a supportive guide toward their goals. Her clinical work is integrative and tailored to each client’s needs. She utilizes evidence-based modalities such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Motivational Interviewing, and play therapy techniques.
Tresniece currently provides telehealth therapy only, offering accessible and flexible support for clients in the comfort of their own space. She believes therapy is a partnership and that each individual holds the capacity for resilience, change, and growth. Her goal is to help clients build coping skills, increase self-awareness, and develop tools that promote emotional wellness and a more fulfilling life.
