Hi, I’m Tiana, a provisionally licensed mental health counselor at Ellie! I earned my bachelor’s degree in forensic psychology and my master’s degree in forensic mental health counseling, both from John Jay College of Criminal Justice in NYC.
I enjoy working with diverse and underserved populations. I specialize in working with trauma survivors, the LGBTQ community, clients battling anxiety, depression, stress management, and more.
Although I incorporate techniques from various modalities, my therapeutic approach is not “cookie-cutter” or “one size fits all”. I am a person-centered and trauma-informed clinician who aims to create a warm, welcoming, and safe space for my clients. I emphasize collaboration with clients and adapting to their needs to achieve their therapeutic goals.
