Teresa Ramont, MA, LPC, NCC

Therapist

Teresa is a warm, playful, and empathetic clinician who brings both skill and heart to her work with children, teens, and young adults (Ages 5+). She understands that starting therapy can feel overwhelming—but her goal is to help clients laugh, learn, and grow, all while feeling supported and truly heard.

Teresa earned her MA in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Roosevelt University and her BA in Psychology and Sociology from Augustana College. Her clinical experience includes helping clients navigate anxiety, depression, grief, complex trauma, identity exploration, and big life transitions.

In sessions, Teresa uses a person-centered approach to create a safe space where clients can move at their own pace. She also incorporates CBT, ACT, Narrative Therapy, Play Therapy techniques (*Including Video-Game Therapy), and trauma-informed care to build a flexible and individualized treatment plan. Her style is compassionate, authentic, and often infused with a bit of humor to help clients feel at ease.

Outside of therapy, Teresa finds joy in concerts, comic cons, binge-worthy shows, and escaping into a good book. She believes life is all about balance—and that embracing what you love is essential to well-being.
