Tara is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker in the state of North Carolina. She pursued a bachelor’s degree in psychology and a master’s degree in social work. Tara operates on a strengths-based approach, empowering individuals to develop a stronger sense of well-being. She believes in helping individuals gain awareness and insight, encourage action, foster healing, and cultivate change in their lives. Tara’s therapeutic approach utilizes cognitive behavioral therapy, client-centered therapy, trauma informed care, and solution focused therapy to appropriately tailor individuals needs and goals. Tara has 14 years of experience providing community-based mental health treatment, school-based therapy, inpatient treatment, outpatient therapy and intensive in home therapy to children, adolescents, and adults. She enjoys spending time with family and friends, traveling, reading books, cooking, and all things fashion.
