Tanya Walburn, LSW

Clinician

Life presents us all with challenges, and navigating these complexities can often feel overwhelming and stressful. While the journey may be difficult, you are the expert of your own life. My role is to listen, learn about your unique experiences, and understand your goals and aspirations. Together, we can work to uncover your inner strengths, skills, and confidence, empowering you to overcome challenges and create meaningful, positive change.

Your voice is central to this process. By sharing what works for you and what you hope to achieve, we can tailor our work together to support your growth. I am committed to helping you recognize and build upon your strengths, values, and cultural background, guiding you to create actionable steps toward your goals in a way that feels authentic to you.

With over 20 years of experience, I have had the privilege of working with children, youth, adults, families, and couples from diverse backgrounds in a variety of settings. I have supported clients through relationship issues, life transitions, challenging behaviors, anxiety, ADHD, anger management, stress, depression, adoption, and many other mental health concerns. My therapeutic approach is integrative and personalized to meet your individual needs, drawing from a range of modalities such as Person-Centered Therapy, Solution-Focused Therapy, Trauma-Informed Care, Motivational Interviewing, and Cognitive Behavioral Therapy. I hold a Bachelor’s degree in Psychology and a Master’s degree in Social Work from the University of Pittsburgh.

Above all, my goal is to help you build the skills and confidence to navigate life’s challenges in ways that work best for you. I am committed to providing a safe, supportive, and non-judgmental space where you can feel empowered to move forward and create the positive change you desire.
