I’m currently in the final year of my Master of Social Work program at Metropolitan State University of Denver, and I’m so excited to be completing my internship with Ellie Mental Health. I’m passionate about helping individuals and families find resilience, healing, and hope as they work through life’s challenges. My approach is grounded in empathy, authenticity, and collaboration—I believe the best work happens when clients feel safe, seen, and supported.
Before becoming a social worker, I spent over ten years as a professional baseball umpire, reaching the Triple-A level. That experience taught me how to stay calm under pressure, communicate clearly, and approach every situation with fairness and respect. These lessons now guide me in my clinical work, where I strive to create a space built on trust and understanding.
I’ve had the privilege of supporting people through my work with Crisis Text Line, providing real-time help to those in emotional distress, and at Shiloh House, a nonprofit that serves children, youth, and families impacted by trauma. These experiences have strengthened my belief in the power of human connection and the importance of meeting people where they are.
I’m looking forward to growing as a clinician with the team at Ellie and walking alongside clients as they navigate change, discover strengths, and move toward the life they want.
