Supritha is a Licensed Professional Counselor Associate and completed Medical School in India and subsequently received her Master’s degree in Clinical Counseling from Rosalind Franklin University of Medicine and Science in Illinois. She previously worked at the Lake County Health Department as a crisis worker and counselor. Her multicultural background, medical training, and extensive clinical experience allow me to understand the impact of medical conditions, cultural issues, and socioeconomic challenges on mental health. She incorporates various evidence-based therapeutic approaches, including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Trauma-Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (Tf-CBT), Mindfulness-based techniques , Internal Family Systems (IFS) and Gottman Method. She offers in person and telehealth Individual therapy sessions for adults (18 and above) and couples. I have worked with clients anxiety, depression, grief, PTSD, stress management, relationship conflict, gender identity issues, and phobias. She likes to spend time with my loved ones and do activities together. She likes to walk and jog on nature trails. You can find her trying a new craft, watching a documentary, or trying a new recipe.
