Therapist

Summer Figueroa, LSW, is a seasoned therapist who specializes in supporting survivors of sexual trauma, domestic violence, and post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD). She also enjoys working with first responders, the LGBTQ+ community, and individuals with ADHD and autism.

Competent in treating OCD, anxiety, and depression, Summer values diversity and culture and draws on cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT) as her primary approach, while integrating the strengths perspective, person-in-environment theory, and other eclectic methods. She is committed to creating a safe, inclusive, healing space where people can grow. In addition to talk therapy, Summer often incorporates expressive arts to help clients process their experiences creatively.

Outside of her professional work, she finds joy in family life with her two children, who are active in dance, piano, and singing. Together, they enjoy attending festivals and community events. Summer’s love of ancient history and the fine arts also inspires her practice, adding depth and creativity to the care she provides.
