Stephanie is a Licensed Professional Counselor with a deep passion for helping individuals build meaningful, lasting relationships. She meets clients with compassion and understanding, supporting them as they navigate life’s challenges and move toward healing and growth. Creating a space where clients feel safe, supported, and free to express their emotions is at the core of her approach.
Stephanie’s path to counseling was shaped by personal experience. As a college student and mother of a child with special needs, she often left IEP meetings feeling overwhelmed and unheard. That sense of helplessness inspired her to pursue a career where she could ensure others feel seen, heard, and valued.
Her diverse background includes working as a daycare teacher, a nurse’s assistant in a psychiatric hospital, a counselor for individuals with eating disorders, and a psychological examiner. Most recently, she served for several years as a School-Based Therapist, offering creative and individualized support to students and families from kindergarten through 12th grade. Her work included helping children manage their school day with fewer setbacks and guiding families in strengthening communication, setting realistic goals, and fostering healing relationships. Stephanie takes great pride in watching her students grow and confidently take on new chapters in their lives.
LPCIn her downtime, Stephanie enjoys relaxing with her family. Whether cooking together, taking long walks with their three dogs, or practicing yoga and Pilates with help from her curious cat, she finds joy in the simple moments. When she needs solitude, you’ll often find her tending to her garden, recharging in the peace of nature.
