Hello! I am a licensed social worker who values the therapeutic relationship as a key part of the healing process. I earned my Master of Social Work degree with a minor in psychology and have several years of experience in different social service settings. I have experience working with adolescents and families involved in DCS or probation, survivors of domestic violence, and Veterans. I focus on creating a safe, supportive environment where all clients feel respected and understood.
I practice from a trauma-informed, strengths-based perspective and uses a systems approach to understand each client’s unique experiences. I am trained in Trauma-Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT) and Motivational Interviewing and am familiar with a variety of other therapeutic modalities. This allows me to think creatively and flexibly in sessions, tailoring treatment approaches to best meet each client’s individual needs. I have a strong working knowledge of a wide range of mental health diagnoses and values client education as part of treatment. I help clients better understand trauma, mental health symptoms, and personal strengths to support growth and long-term change. I am committed to ethical, compassionate care that empowers clients throughout their therapeutic journey.
