Life can feel overwhelming at times, especially when big emotions, behavior challenges, or major transitions start to affect your family’s day-to-day life. Silvia offers a compassionate, playful, and deeply grounding therapy space where children, adolescents, and parents feel supported, understood, and empowered to grow. As a bilingual therapist in English and Spanish, Silvia is passionate about increasing access to mental health care and creating culturally responsive therapy where every family feels seen and valued.
Silvia takes an integrative therapy approach that blends Person-Centered care with evidence-based modalities such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Dialectical Behavior Therapy, and play-based interventions. With a strong trauma-informed foundation, she meets each client exactly where they are and helps them gain emotional awareness, confidence, and practical tools. Silvia works with children as young as three, adolescents, and families experiencing behavioral concerns, neurodiversity, emotional regulation difficulties, and major life transitions. She also provides supportive parent training so caregivers feel equipped and encouraged throughout the process.
Rooted in compassion, equity, and hope, Silvia believes healing happens when clients feel safe, connected, and understood. She is deeply aware of the mental health care gaps impacting underserved and marginalized communities and intentionally integrates cultural values, communication styles, and intergenerational experiences into her work.
Outside the therapy room, Silvia enjoys spending time with her pets, exploring the outdoors, discovering new places, and reading.
