Sheridan Dean, MS

Resident In Counseling

Sheridan (she/her) holds an M.S. in Counseling & Human Development with a focus in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Radford University. She provides in-person and telehealth therapy for adolescents, teens, young adults, and adults.

Sheridan integrates Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) and mindfulness-based skills to support trauma healing, strengthen emotional regulation, and deepen self-awareness. She complements these core approaches with elements of Person-Centered Therapy, CBT, Solution-Focused Therapy, and Multicultural Counseling to create a flexible and individualized treatment experience.

Sheridan is dedicated to offering a safe, affirming space where clients feel genuinely heard, empowered, and supported as they navigate ADHD, anxiety, depression, stress, life transitions, emotion regulation, burnout, and communication challenges. Her goal is to collaborate with each person to foster meaningful growth, resilience, and a stronger connection to their authentic self.
