Therapist

Shannon is a provisionally licensed Mental Health Counselor passionate about helping individuals navigate life’s challenges and achieve emotional well-being. She holds a Master of Arts in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Southern New Hampshire University and a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology from the University of New Hampshire. Shannon works with a wide range of clients from all ages and diverse backgrounds to help individuals struggling with anxiety, depression, self-esteem issues, trauma, family conflict, and life transitions.

Her therapeutic approach is collaborative and integrative, utilizing Strengths-Based Therapy, Adlerian Therapy, Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), and Person-Centered Approach. This includes focusing on building on your existing strengths, empowering you to take control of your life, identifying negative thought patterns impacting behavior and emotions, developing healthy coping skills to manage stressors, and creating a safe space for self-exploration and growth.

Shannon prioritizes a supportive and judgement-free environment where you feel comfortable laughing, crying, and processing all that you bring to your therapy sessions. Together, you’ll explore personal strengths, behaviors, relationships, and your worldview. By gaining insight into these areas, you can build confidence, increase self-awareness, and cultivate positive change. Shannon is here to guide you on your journey towards emotional wellness.
