Shana brings empathy, kindness, encouragement, and humor to her sessions. She honors each person’s unique personality, and focuses on their strengths, empowering clients to live their most fulfilling life.

Shana earned a Master’s Degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling with a Certificate in Trauma Counseling from Antioch University New England. Her devotion to providing clients with the most beneficial evidence-based modalities led to her completing EMDR (Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing) training in 2021. Shana is licensed as a Mental Health Counselor in the state of Washington and as a National Certified Counselor with NBCC.

Shana works with couples and individuals 14+ who experience a variety of issues including Post Traumatic Stress Disorder (PTSD), depression, anxiety, life transitions, and Grief. She is especially passionate about guiding clients on their healing journey through trauma, PTSD, grief/loss, and marital/relationship issues. Using an eclectic approach to therapy, she draws from multiple modalities including EMDR, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Positive psychology, Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), Mindfulness, Internal Family Systems (IFS), Emotional Focused Therapy (EFT), and Gottman.

Shana is an LGBTQIA+ ally. She is dedicated to creating a non-judgmental, compassionate, therapeutic environment, allowing every client the space to heal while providing them with the support and tools to grow.
