Shana Muzzy is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) and licensed teacher who provides psychotherapy for children, adolescents, adults, older adults, and families. With experience in both educational and hospital settings, Shana has worked with individuals across the lifespan, helping clients navigate emotional, behavioral, and life challenges while fostering growth, resilience, and meaningful change.
Shana is passionate about supporting clients through life’s transitions and believes in the importance of understanding each person’s unique story. Her background includes providing individual counseling, leading therapeutic groups, and collaborating with multidisciplinary teams to ensure clients receive comprehensive, well-rounded care. She is also a candidate in the Child, Adolescent, and Parenting Program (CAAP) at the Westchester Center for the Study of Psychoanalysis and Psychotherapy, further deepening her expertise in child and family mental health.
Shana takes a warm, relational, and client-centered approach to therapy. She strives to create a safe, supportive environment where clients feel comfortable bringing their authentic selves into the therapeutic space. Recognizing that every individual is unique, she integrates a variety of therapeutic approaches and remains flexible in tailoring treatment to each client’s needs and goals.
