Selen has a passion for supporting people on their journey back to themselves and her top priority is to hold compassionate space for all of you – all of your joy and sorrow, fear and anger, old wounds and new. She specializes in working with adults struggling with numbness, anger, depression, anxiety, codependency, or low self-esteem due to trauma related to relationships, family, or adverse experiences.
Using a polyvagal, attachment-based approach, Selen utilizes techniques from Brainspotting, Internal Family Systems (IFS), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Cognitive Therapies (CBT/DBT), expressive therapies (eg. art, play, sand tray), and Somatic Experiencing to support her clients in fostering resilience, processing trauma, improving self-image, and reconnecting with a sense of joy and wonder.
