Scott has experience in community mental health, private practice, and a university counseling center and is excited to add Ellie to this list! He works with adults with a variety of mental and emotional disorders and works well with anxiety, depression, and AD/HD. He is also effective in helping people through life transitions, building insight, relational problems, and to align their behaviors with their values so that they can live the life they want to lead. Scott is an ally and informed on LGBTQIA+ and BIPOC issues. His therapy approach has a strong foundation of person-centered counseling and integrates elements of cognitive behavioral therapy, interpersonal processing, existential therapy, feminist theory, solution-focused approach, and mindfulness. In his spare time, he enjoys listening to and playing music, chess, reading, and hiking.
