Life can feel overwhelming at times, whether you’re navigating school, relationships, family stress, or big emotions that feel hard to manage. Sarah believes therapy should be a place where clients can show up exactly as they are, without judgment. Her goal is to create a safe, supportive space where clients feel comfortable exploring challenges, building insight, and developing practical tools for change.
Sarah is an Advanced Practice Social Worker (APSW) with a background in child welfare, which has shaped her trauma-informed approach to therapy. She understands how past experiences, family dynamics, and life stressors can impact emotional well-being, and she works to help clients feel understood while developing healthier ways to cope and move forward.
Her approach is collaborative, strengths-based, and tailored to each individual. Sarah often incorporates Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT) and Motivational Interviewing to help clients build a “toolbox” of skills for managing emotions, handling stress, and improving communication. She also values working with families and caregivers when appropriate, helping create stronger support systems and more positive connections.
With experience in behavioral health, crisis intervention, and complex situations, Sarah strives to meet clients where they are and support them in building a life that feels more manageable and meaningful.
Sarah offers evening availability and works with clients ages 5 and up.
