Sara is a Licensed Associate Counselor (LAC) in New Jersey. She has received her Master of Arts in Clinical Counseling and her Bachelor of Science in Psychology, both from Alvernia University. Sara has experience working with a variety of populations, predominantly working with older adolescents and adults, to provide individual and group therapy. Sara has worked in various settings, including outpatient therapy, inpatient acute stabilization, intensive outpatient programs, and psycho educational groups used for alternative sentencing. Further, Sara has had experience working with clients that have the following presenting issues: anxiety, depression, trauma, grief, ADHD, self-esteem, stress, and life transitions. Sara utilizes a variety of therapeutic approaches, primarily Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), to empower clients to accomplish their therapeutic goals. Sara aims to provide clients a safe space to share their story, collaborate with clients to develop a plan of action and coping skills, and empower clients to accomplish therapeutic goals. “I believe it is an honor and a privilege when clients select me to walk their personal journey with them.
