Sammantha Muraglia, BS

MSW Intern

Sammantha (Sam) is an intern-level Master of Social Work (MSW) student with a deep commitment to providing compassionate, strengths-based support to children and families. Sam’s journey began in therapeutic day schools and has continued with clinical experience at Ellie Mental Health.

Sam focuses on working with elementary-aged children, especially those facing challenges with emotional regulation and behavioral needs. Sam’s experience as a paraprofessional has equipped her with practical knowledge that enhances her application of evidence-based practices, including play-based interventions and positive behavior support strategies. Sam is dedicated to meeting each child where they are, fostering trusting relationships, and empowering them to flourish.

Having grown up in Addison and worked at Lutherbrook Residential School, Sam witnessed the vital role of early support and culturally responsive care. Sam is passionate about contributing to therapeutic environments where she can nurture resilience and connection for children and families in need.

In her free time, she enjoys spending time with her family, traveling, or discovering small ways to express her creativity.
