Samantha Hatchett, LCSW, graduated from the University of Texas Arlington in 2016 and has experience in providing intensive outpatient therapy to teen clients in group and individual settings, incorporating family sessions as needed. Samantha’s therapeutic approach heavily leans on Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and trauma-informed interventions with complementing techniques from Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT) for mindfulness and distress tolerance. Her passion in the field focuses on helping teens and young adults navigate developmental / life transitions and helping them identify their values and best self to build on as they become increasingly independent. Samantha resides in the Mid-cities area with her family, balancing her professional life with spending time with her significant other and teenage son.
Outside of work, Samantha enjoys social outings with friends, nurturing her collection of houseplants, playing billiards, and reading for relaxation.
