Sam is a Licensed Professional Counselor and Clinical Licensure Supervisor in the state of Missouri. She has a decade of experience in community mental health working in and leading a vast array of programming – Adult and Adolescent Recovery services, Youth Community Psychiatric Rehabilitation, specialized out of home placement services, and School-Based programming across 6 districts in Eastern Jackson County. Sam has also created and overseen prevention programming targeting at-risk youth. Throughout her career, Sam has treated individuals of all ages, specializing in children and adolescents. As a counselor, Sam engages in a client-centered approach with utilization of cognitive behavioral therapy and motivational interviewing techniques.
