Riley is a Licensed Certified Social Worker (LCSW) with a BA from Bowdoin College and a Master of Social Work from Rutgers University. He has experience supporting a wide range of clients, from children to older adults, in outpatient and community-based settings. He has helped clients navigate challenges such as anxiety, depression, life transitions, gender and identity exploration, relationship concerns, and trauma.
Riley uses a collaborative approach to therapy, tailoring treatment to meet the needs of each client. He draws from modalities including cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), dialectical behavior therapy (DBT), motivational interviewing (MI), and mindfulness-based practices. His work is deeply rooted in a trauma-informed, client-centered framework. This means sessions with Riley feel conversational, flexible, and safe.
He also draws from his own lived experience with mental health challenges, which informs his deep empathy and commitment to creating a supportive and nonjudgmental space. Riley is passionate about supporting clients from diverse backgrounds and strives to help clients build empowerment and agency in their everyday lives.
