Hey ya’ll! I’m Quenisha “Q” Lane, and if you’re looking for a therapist who combines insight with a sprinkle of humor, you’ve come to the right place. I am an Air Force veteran, who earned my master’s degree in social work at The University of West Florida. My passion is supporting teens transitioning into adulthood and adults through the twists and turns of anxiety/anxiety related disorders, mood disorders, psychosis/thought disorders, ADHD, and/or other stress-related challenges.
Think of me as your co-pilot on this journey, with a toolbox full of CBT, DBT, Solution-Focused Therapy, Motivational Interviewing, and ERP. My goal is to shine a light on those puzzling thoughts, feelings and behaviors, to help you feel more in control and less overwhelmed, all while keeping things light and engaging. Whether it’s through the structured techniques of Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) or the more flexible and accepting approach of Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), we’ll work together to tackle whatever’s on your mind. Using Solution-Focused Therapy, we’ll zero in on what’s working and build on those successes. Motivational Interviewing will help you tap into your inner drive, while Exposure and Response Prevention (ERP) will guide you through facing fears head-on (with plenty of support along the way). I believe in the power of laughter and play as essential tools in therapy, because who says therapy can’t be a bit fun? Think of it as adding a splash of color to what can sometimes feel like a grayscale experience.
When I’m not busy helping you make your mental health journey and life-stressors a little less intimidating, you might find me indulging in my passion for hobbies like video games (mostly sandbox games), karaoke, or watching/attending WWE events (YEET!). Let’s work together to transform your mental health into a stepping-stone toward a more fulfilling and balanced life.
