Many people begin therapy with a simple feeling that something is off. They may feel overwhelmed, disconnected, or tired of repeating the same patterns in their relationships, work, family, or within themselves. Prit Shah works with individuals who may understand these patterns intellectually but still feel stuck in them—because the goal of therapy is not only insight, but transformation. His style is warm, honest, curious, and grounded, and he believes therapy should feel like a real conversation where you do not have to perform.
Prit takes a holistic approach that explores the connection between the mind, body, relationships, lived experiences, values, and the meaning people make from their lives. For the past four years, he has worked in crisis settings, psychiatric care, and grief counseling with people of all ages and from diverse backgrounds. His work draws from existential therapy, mindfulness, emotional awareness, and meaning-making. He also welcomes conversations around spirituality, faith, identity, purpose, emptiness, doubt, and the messy questions that do not always have a clear answer.
His mission is to create a space where pain can be understood, old patterns can be transformed, and a more connected way of living can begin.
Outside of therapy, Prit enjoys working out, meditating, wandering around on nighttime walks, and drinking more caffeine than he probably should.
