I am an empathetic, child centered, mental health counselor, who specializes in the use of play therapy techniques to aid individual growth and self-reflection, to foster positive life changes. I primarily work with children and adolescents ages 5-21yrs. In the past, I have worked as a middle school paraprofessional during Covid, a Therapeutic Mentor, and an In-Home Therapist providing support and treatment for families.
I graduated from Quinnipiac University with a bachelor’s degree in Psychology and later received my master’s degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Merrimack College.
I have experience providing individual and family therapy services for children and adolescents with trauma, anxiety, depression, ADHD, OCD, grief/loss and anger management across different domains such as schools, homes and community programs. The therapeutic approaches I use are CBT, DBT, person-centered, strengths based, Acceptance & Commitment Therapy(ACT) and interpersonal counseling techniques.
In my free time, I find myself enjoying nature, exploring new places and unearthing history with my hobby of metal detecting.
