Nicole Hoopes, LMSW

Therapist

When kids or teens are struggling, it doesn’t always come out in words, it often shows up in behavior, big emotions, or shutting down. Nicole, LMSW, helps children feel safe, understood, and supported as they work through what’s going on beneath the surface.

Nicole works with children navigating anxiety, ADHD, depression, adjustment-related concerns, behavioral challenges, oppositional defiant disorder (ODD), autism spectrum disorder (ASD), and difficulties with emotional regulation and social skills.

She specializes in child-centered play therapy and directed play therapy techniques, creating a space where children can express themselves, process experiences, and build resilience in ways that feel natural to them. Nicole takes a trauma-informed approach, prioritizing emotional safety, trust, and empowerment in every session.

She collaborates closely with families and caregivers to support each child’s unique strengths and needs, helping them develop coping skills, emotional awareness, and confidence.

Outside of sessions, Nicole enjoys spending time with family and friends, being outdoors, embracing opportunities for adventure and relaxation in nature. She believes laughter is an important part of life that she naturally brings into her work.
