Nicole earned her Master’s Degree in Social Work from Simmons University in Boston. Although her first career was Education, Nicole is truly passionate about helping others through individual, couples and group therapy. Nicole specializes in working with individuals, predominately adults, who are battling with addiction, depression, anxiety, life transitions, grief and loss, suicidal thoughts, trauma and anger management. Nicole has worked in a variety of settings such as hospitals, outpatient addiction clinics, private practice and homeless shelters, which assists her in truly meeting people where they are at.
Nicole believes that the client is the expert in their own life and she is simply a guide in helping people reach their goals at their own pace. Nicole is open to different modalities of treatment because not one approach can work for everyone, but often uses CBT, DBT, ACT, Motivational Interviewing and Solution Focused Therapy. Nicole’s goal is to create a safe, comfortable, and accepting space for folks to come and create positive change in their lives.
