Nick is a pre-licensed mental health counselor with a B.A. in Psychology from Lesley University and an M.A. in Mental Health Counseling from Boston College. He has experience working with children, adolescents, and adults in school, group, and individual outpatient settings.  Additionally, he has worked with clients who experience a range of mental health concerns such as anxiety, depression, trauma, suicidality, self harm, ADHD, and autism.  Nick approaches working with clients from a humanistic perspective, drawing on person-centered, Gestalt, and narrative philosophies to empower clients to lead meaningful and fulfilling lives.  He also utilizes an eclectic mix of therapeutic modalities, including acceptance and commitment therapy (ACT), dialectical-behavior therapy (DBT), cognitive-behavior therapy (CBT), mindfulness, psychoeducation, and psychodynamic approaches.  Nick values authenticity, compassion, empathy, and humor to stimulate awareness, and growth throughout the therapeutic process.
