Hi! I’m Nettie. I have a bachelor’s degree in psychology from IU Columbus and I recently graduated with my MA in Mental Health Counseling from IU Columbus as well. During my internship I gained experience working with depression, anxiety, emotion regulation, trauma, and self-esteem. I use a person-centered approach pulling techniques from DBT and CBT. I am still discovering the types of issues and populations that I would like to work with, so I am currently open to experiencing anything new. In my free time, I enjoy spending time with my family either watching movies, playing games, going on walks, or traveling. I am a mom. I have a 10-year-old daughter who is the center of my world. I am also an introvert and enjoy spending time alone drinking coffee, reading a good book, or sitting on my swing in my backyard.
I realize that entering therapy can be a scary thing. Just know I am not here to judge; I am only here to support you. I have experience being a client in therapy, so I have been there and know how difficult it can be to open up. I am here to help in any way that I can, and I look forward to working with you.
