Resident Therapist

Nazia Mian is a compassionate therapist with experience supporting children, adolescents, adults, and families across medical, school-based, and outpatient settings. She earned her Master of Social Work from New York University’s Silver School of Social Work and a Bachelor’s in Political Science from the University at Albany.

Nazia specializes in helping clients navigate trauma, anxiety, depression, grief, and life transitions using evidence-based approaches such as CBT, DBT, MI, and trauma-informed care. As an EMDR trainee, she is expanding her skills in supporting clients through trauma processing and healing. Nazia is committed to providing a safe, culturally responsive space that honors each client’s unique experiences and identities.

In addition to English, she is proficient in Urdu and Hindi, and values the opportunity to support clients in the languages in which they feel most comfortable.
