Nathan Kelly, CT

Counselor Trainee

Nathan is currently a graduate student at the University of the Cumberlands, pursuing a master’s degree in clinical mental health counseling with the goal of becoming a Licensed Professional Counselor. He holds a bachelor’s degree in psychology from Wright State University. Nathan enjoys working with individuals across the lifespan and is committed to creating a safe, trusting, compassionate, and empathetic environment where clients feel seen, heard, and supported.

His work is driven by a deep passion for helping individuals navigate trauma, grief, life transitions, and emotional challenges while integrating the Christian faith in a respectful and supportive manner. Nathan is especially passionate about the importance of family, friendships, and the body of Christ, valuing the role that relationships, identity, and environment play in mental and emotional well-being.

Outside of his academic and professional pursuits, Nathan enjoys journaling, singing, serving in the community, attending church, and spending quality time with family and friends. He values reflection and personal growth and believes healing is most effective when clients gain insight, feel empowered, and are supported with compassion and understanding.
