Morgan is a former school counselor with over ten years of experience in educational settings, bringing a deep understanding of child and adolescent development, family systems, and the social, emotional, and academic challenges children face. She is a compassionate, strengths-based counselor who works with children, adolescents, and adults navigating anxiety, emotional regulation challenges, grief and loss, life transitions, and school-related stress.
Morgan’s goal is to create a warm, safe, and welcoming environment where clients feel comfortable, understood, and supported. She draws primarily from Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Solution-Focused Brief Therapy, and Person-Centered approaches to help clients develop practical coping skills, build confidence, and feel more in control of their thoughts and emotions.
With younger clients, Morgan frequently uses play-based and expressive techniques to support communication, emotional processing, and regulation in developmentally appropriate ways. She also enjoys working collaboratively with parents and caregivers, offering guidance to strengthen family systems and reinforce skills outside of session.
Morgan earned her Master of Education in Counseling from PennWest University and her Bachelor’s degree in Sociology from Indiana University of Pennsylvania. A lifelong Pittsburgh native, she is a dog lover who enjoys coffee, pizza, and exploring true crime stories. In her free time, Morgan loves spending time outdoors and going on adventures with her family and her dog, Sammy.
