Monica earned her master’ degree in clinical social work from Boston University and attained her undergraduate degree in Applied Psychology and Human Development at Boston College. She previously worked in Children Behavioral Health Initiative (CBHI) services with low income families who were in active crisis situations and in need of urgent intervention to prevent hospitalization. She has enjoyed working with family systems and supporting families in creating healthy dynamics and stabilization using positive communication. She also had a wide arrange of experience working with children, adolescents and adults with diverse backgrounds and varying needs. She values using empathy and understanding to meet clients where they are in order to support them in reaching their desired goals.
