Monica Alderman, MA, LPC, NCC

Therapist and Clinical Supervisor

Monica is a trauma-focused therapist with a Master’s degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling and specialized training in EMDR. She works with children, adolescents, and adults ages 7 and up who are experiencing the effects of PTSD, complex trauma, and overwhelming life experiences. Monica helps clients understand how trauma impacts the nervous system, emotions, and behavior so they can begin to feel more grounded, safe, and in control.

Her approach is collaborative, compassionate, and non-judgmental. Monica believes healing happens when clients feel supported, understood, and empowered. Together, she and her clients work to process difficult experiences, build emotional regulation skills, and strengthen internal resources that support lasting change. Her goal is to help clients reconnect with their sense of agency, confidence, and stability in daily life.

You don’t have to keep carrying this alone—Monica is here to help you heal.
