My name is Mirlinda Zulbeari Kelmendi, and I hold a Master of Arts in Mental Health Counseling with a concentration in Addiction and Substance Abuse, as well as a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology from Lewis University. I bring over ten years of experience in the mental health and social services field, with expertise in addiction studies, case management, and client-centered care.
Throughout my career, I have had the privilege of serving in a variety of roles, including Therapist at Bloom Counseling and Therapy, Executive Director at Encore Senior Living, and Administrator at Sandwich Rehab and Healthcare. These diverse experiences have deepened my belief that every individual possesses the inner strength and capacity to heal and grow when provided with the right support and environment.
My therapeutic approach is compassionate, collaborative, and tailored to each client’s unique needs. I strive to create a safe, nonjudgmental space where clients feel heard, respected, and empowered to explore their emotions and experiences. I take a holistic view of wellness—addressing mind, body, and spirit—while helping individuals build resilience, self-awareness, and effective coping skills.
As someone fluent in Albanian, I place a strong emphasis on cultural awareness and inclusivity in my work. I am dedicated to providing equitable care and advocating for individuals who may feel unseen or unheard. My goal is to walk alongside each client on their journey toward healing, balance, and self-discovery.
Beyond my clinical work, I am passionate about mental health advocacy, community engagement, and empowering others to find hope and meaning through life’s challenges.
